The Indian Ocean Hotel Bar

The Indian Ocean Hotel in Scarborough has been featuring LIVE music since 1987 when Gordon Wilson and Simon Townsend played covers to uni students and Scarborough locals.

Scarborough is the Perth equivalent of St Kilda for Melbourne or Bondi for Sydney.

Led Zeppelin stayed here (and got raided by the cops) in 1972, AC/DC and the Rolling Stones also stayed here during that time as well.

The venue has been booking acts here four nights a week for the last 30 years so its geared for shows.

Acts like John Butler, Luke Steele, British India, The Hardons, DZ Deathrays, Regurgitator, The Waifs, Shock One, Karnivool & Tijuana Cartel, artists spanning all genres and ages have played here.

Summer at The Indian Ocean Hotel means pool parties by day and gigs by night.
